Northwest Community Church is a member of The Presbyterian Church USA through the Presbytery of Cincinnati, connecting and equipping congregations to bear witness to the overwhelming hope, audacious joy, and contagious love of Jesus Christ.
CORE VALUES
Northwest Community Church, its people, and its leadership try to live out our calling in the following ways:
- Love in Action – we desire to demonstrate God’s love the way Jesus did, through our actions as well as our words. This core value includes our emphasis on mission and outreach to serve those in need beyond our walls.
- Worship and Work in a Journey of Grace – fellowship and supportive love within our church family is an important part of who we are. This core value encompasses the needs within our walls – our desire for meaningful worship, and for showing support and care for each other from a place of God’s grace.
- Studying and Growing to Live the Word – Bible study and Christian education have always been the foundation of who we are and how we strive to be. This core value stresses our dependence on scripture and Bible study to learn how to live the Word in the world.
MISSION & VISION STATEMENT
As a family of believers, we commit to growing in the knowledge of God, proclaiming salvation through Jesus Christ, and serving others through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We will provide a place for people to gather and worship God in Christian fellowship, and to extend the branches of ministry that will nurture the spiritual life of individuals and families by:
- establishing a strong foundation for our youth.
- providing compassionate care.
- understanding and helping members of our congregation and community.
- offering opportunities for local and global service.
- maintaining an environment of love and fellowship.
