Children’s Ministry

Let the little children come . . .

Throughout the gospels, Jesus has a real heart for little children and especially for their faith!  At Crestview, we share that same heart.  Our children’s ministries aren’t merely another babysitting service, but a chance for us to introduce children to Jesus Christ early in life.

We understand that children have different learning styles, so we pour our resources into making the message engaging and fun.  Age appropriate games, activities, skits, songs, and videos are all part of both hours for children of all ages.  On the first Sunday of each month children in 2nd through 6th grade are invited into “big church” to learn to worship our great God and to take Communion with our church family.  On these Sundays our K-1st graders are dismissed to their individual groups during the service. On the other Sundays of the month, kindergarteners – 6th graders begin in their groups right at 9:30, or at 11:00, kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to begin their morning in the middle sanctuary to worship with a time of uplifting music, and then are dismissed to their individual groups. We bring the fullness of our creativity to encourage your children into a life-long journey of inquiry and discovery of God.
