1 Timothy 4:12:  Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, and in faith.

Camp IMPACT had 18 campers and 6 counselors from 5 different churches this year. We spent the week of June 19 at Woodland Lakes Christian Camp in Amelia, Ohio. Our theme for the week was “GOAT: God Over All Things,” and our daily Bible studies focused on the story of Gideon. In addition, we had evening campfire talks given by the pastors of several of the represented churches, and evening devotions. Of course, we had lots of fun camp activities, too, including a zipline, a giant swing, archery, swimming in both the pool and the lake, human foosball, and many large-group games including the long-time camp favorite, Mission World (it’s kind of like Capture the Flag, but more complicated!). We sang songs (like Pharaoh, Pharaoh and Blind Man) and made crafts (like tie-dye shirts and bead bracelets). After two years off due to Covid, it was great to be back!

VBS

We have created fun learning environments for kids preschool through 6th grade, such as Operation Arctic, Panda Mania and Rolling River Rampage. Typically we partner ecumenically with other churches to bring Vacation Bible School to youth in our community.  The 2022 VBS season around the Presbytery and our community is over. Stop back next Spring for information on 2023 VBS.
