Galatians 5:22-23: ‘The fruit of the Spirit’, says Paul, not the fruits, as we might more naturally have expected, and as the phrase is most often quoted; all this rich variety of graces, of conduct and character, is thought of as one.

Camp IMPACT took place June 18-22 at Kirkwood Adventure Park in Wilmington, Ohio. Twenty-three campers and nine counselors from 4+ area Presbyterian churches spent the week enjoying activities like swimming in Kirkwood’s lake, walking the canopy trail up in the trees, tubing down a big hill, singing camp songs, playing games like Mission World, Sink the Battleship, and Nine Square, and talking and laughing with old friends and new. Bible studies each morning and campfire talks and devotions each evening focused on the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). It was a wonderful time of enjoying nature and learning about God’s Word!

We have created fun learning environments for kids preschool through 6th grade, such as Operation Arctic, Panda Mania and Rolling River Rampage. Typically, we partner ecumenically with other churches to bring Vacation Bible School to youth in our community. The 2023 VBS season around the Presbytery and our community is over. Stop back next Spring for information on 2024 VBS.
